Applicant disclosure & consent

This is the disclosure shown to anyone who applies for an independent contractor opportunity through leadadvisors.com/careers. By submitting an application you confirm you have read it and that the listed processing is acceptable.

1. Who collects your data

LeadAdvisors ("we", "us") — the operator of apps.leadadvisors.com. Privacy contact: legal@leadadvisors.net. See the full Privacy Policy for our identity, jurisdictions, and your rights.

2. What we collect when you apply

We collect:

• The information you put in the application form: first name, last name, email (required); phone, country, LinkedIn URL, resume / CV file, and a short cover note (optional).
• The role you selected.
• Technical metadata: the version of this notice you accepted, the timestamp of your submission, and the IP address from which you submitted (for fraud and audit).
• If you complete a pre-hire assessment, your responses, scores, time-on-task, and anti-cheat events. See Assessment consent.

We will only ask for additional sensitive information (for example, government identification or banking details) at the offer / engagement stage and only after disclosing why we need it.

3. How we use your application

• Evaluate fit for the role(s) you applied for and for related future contractor opportunities.
• Contact you about next steps (interviews, assessments, offer, scheduling).
• Maintain a recruiting record for compliance, auditing, and quality review.
• Improve the Portal in aggregate (privacy-respecting).

We do not:

• Use a fully-automated decision to reject your application. A human reviewer makes every progression decision.
• Sell your data.
• Share your application with current clients while you are still an applicant.

4. Retention if you are not hired

If we do not progress your application or you withdraw, we keep your application for up to 24 months so we can consider you for future roles, then delete it — unless local law requires us to keep it longer or unless you ask us in writing to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at legal@leadadvisors.net.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Access your application data.
• Correct any inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (subject to records we are legally required to keep).
• Withdraw consent for processing — this stops your application but does not undo earlier processing that was lawful at the time.
• Receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

6. Sub-processors who may see your application

Your application data is handled by the sub-processors listed in Privacy Policy §6. For the application stage specifically, that includes:

• Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email replies to you), Sentry (error monitoring).

International transfers are described in Privacy Policy §8.

7. Apply-form check-box copy (required)

The check-box on the application form must read substantively as follows. The check-box defaults to unchecked. Submission is blocked until it is checked. We record the consent version, timestamp, and submitting IP.

For users in jurisdictions that require opt-in for "talent pool" retention (EU/UK/Switzerland), an additional optional check-box may be offered:
